BootyPrivacy Policy
The short version
- No account, no sign-up. We don't ask for your email, phone number or real identity.
- Your scan photos are saved only on your iPhone. When you run a scan, they're sent over an encrypted connection to an AI provider to create your report. We don't store them on our servers.
- No ads, no tracking, and we never sell your data.
- You're in control. Delete any scan, or erase everything in Settings → Reset all data.
1. Who we are
This policy covers the BootyMaxx iOS app and this website (together, "BootyMaxx", "we", "us"). BootyMaxx is a glute training and progress-tracking app. It uses AI to analyze photos you take and turns them into a visual progress score and training plan.
2. Scan photos and AI analysis
Before your first scan, BootyMaxx asks you to confirm that you agree to your photos being sent for AI analysis. If you decline, no photos are sent.
When you run a scan:
- Your rear and side photos are resized on your device, then sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS) through our AI proxy to a third-party AI model provider. Our primary provider is Google (Gemini), with OpenAI as a backup if the primary is unavailable.
- The photos are used only to check photo quality and create your scan report (Booty Score, metrics and recommendations).
- We don't store your photos on our servers, and we don't use them for advertising, profiling or training our own models.
- AI providers process the photos under their API terms. Under those terms, API data isn't used to train their models, but they may keep it briefly (typically up to 30 days) for abuse and security monitoring before deleting it.
- The finished report and your photos are saved only on your device.
Photos may show your body in fitted clothing. Please don't include your face, other people, or nudity. The app asks for fitted athletic wear, and photos that don't meet the guide are rejected.
3. Information stored only on your device
The following stays locally on your iPhone and is never uploaded to us:
- Your first name (if entered), age range and training preferences from onboarding
- Scan photos, Booty Scores and scan history
- Workouts, routines, streaks, meals, weight entries and notes
- Transformation videos and share cards you create (rendered on-device)
If your iPhone backs up to iCloud or your computer, this data may be included in that backup under Apple's terms.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Subscriptions and scan packs are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, email, or payment details.
We use RevenueCat to check which purchases are active. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous app user ID, your device's App Store purchase receipts, and basic technical details (such as app version, OS version and country/storefront). This is used only to unlock the features you've paid for and to restore purchases. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
5. Device permissions
- Camera: used only while you take a scan photo.
- Photo Library (add only): used only to save transformation videos or images you choose to export. BootyMaxx can't read your existing photos unless you pick one with the system photo picker.
You can change these at any time in iOS Settings → BootyMaxx.
6. How we share information
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
7. Tracking and advertising
BootyMaxx doesn't track you across other companies' apps or websites, doesn't use the advertising identifier (IDFA), and doesn't contain third-party ads or analytics SDKs. This website uses no cookies or trackers.
8. Data retention and deletion
- On-device data is kept until you delete it. Delete a single scan from its report, erase everything with Settings → Reset all data, or delete the app to remove all local data.
- Scan photos sent for AI analysis aren't retained by us. Providers may keep them briefly for abuse monitoring, as described in section 2.
- Purchase records are kept by Apple and RevenueCat as long as needed for billing, legal and accounting purposes.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EU/UK or CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because we don't hold an account for you and most data lives only on your device, you can use most of these rights directly in the app. For anything else, including requests about RevenueCat purchase data tied to your anonymous ID, contact us and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Our legal basis for processing scan photos is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by not running further scans and deleting the app's data. Purchase processing is necessary to perform our contract with you.
10. Security
All network requests use encrypted HTTPS connections. On-device data is protected by iOS's built-in data protection when your device is locked. No system is 100% secure, but we design BootyMaxx to keep as little data as possible off your device.
11. Children
BootyMaxx is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we'll help remove any related data.
12. Health disclaimer
Booty Scores and AI feedback are visual estimates for tracking your training progress. They aren't medical measurements, diagnoses, or guarantees of results. BootyMaxx doesn't collect health records and doesn't connect to Apple Health.
13. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date, and where appropriate let you know in the app.
